A healthy glow...

In August we took the kids on their first QLD holiday to the Whitsundays. It was so deliciously wonderful to get out of the cold and into real, actual sunshine! Only problem was, I was a scary shade of white from a long cold winter ;)

Now trust me. I've done every fake tan under the sun. I grew up doing physi. Can I get an amen from my physi sisters?

For those of you who aren't aware of the phenomenon, physi is a combination of dance and aerobics/calisthenics that was big in the 80's and 90's. It required hours of painful hair-do's, fluorescent leotards and layer upon layer of hideous, orange, stinky fake tan that stained your clothes and turned people off with it's awful smell!

And the stinky, staining fake tans still exist. They're everywhere. You can smell them at weddings, in gyms and on the dance floor at clubs (or so they tell me - I haven't been on said dance floors in years!)

The other side of these smelly orange paint jobs is that they are full of chemicals. Your skin is your biggest organ and the most exposed to outside influence. What's the point in using a fake tan to avoid melanoma from over exposure to the sun, if you're just clogging your pores with various chemicals instead? You may as well go lie out in the sun!

But I found something that fixes the stinky, the orange, the staining and most of all the pasty white winter skin without any chemicals or harmful rays.

It is delicious! It doesn't have that awful fake tan odour of other brands. It also is Certified Organic. 100% natural and totally safe! You put it on after your shower at night, sleep in it (yep - it wont stain your PJ's or your sheets!) and the next morning, you wake up with a gorgeous glow.

So I was able to fit in with the QLD sunshine without scaring the backpackers off the beach with the bright reflection off my legs! Hallelujah!
