So cliched I know, but it doesn't get more real than that.
We've all seen the movies about the decline of planet earth because mankind took it for granted. As recently as last week, with the release of the new tv show Terra Nova, a bleak future for our globe was predicted because of human mistreatment. It's always doom & gloom... They totally exaggerate it, right?
Or is it closer to the truth than we would like to admit?
I will be the first to admit that I know so little about the impact we have on our environment. I know plenty of people ago could run circles around me with their knowledge of all things green.
But what I'm discovering is, knowledge isn't power, or ego, or status. Knowledge is the first step towards real change. So I'm going to do what I can, in this season of my life to become better educated on how I can reduce my carbon footprint and ensure this one and only planet is here for my future generations to enjoy. Because my babies deserve green grass and blue sky and warm-ish oceans. And so do their babies.
